Story Time
I personally am a child with an abused mother. My mom was financially, emotionally, and physically abused. This happened on many different occasions and I watched the cycle happen in my own life. I've been in one very abusive relationship, he used to get so angry with me when I would tell him to stop or to back up. He would tell me how no one else would ever care for me, and that I was worthless. He kept me on a tight leash, and I didn't like it at all but I knew that unless he was the one to break up with me I would stuck in guilt and hopelessness forever. My best friend had the bright idea to tell him I was "cheating" on him. I was open to any suggestions on how to get out. So we got a group of friends together one night and my best friend took my phone from me so I wouldn't see the things he would say to me. My best guy friend, text him and told him how long I was "cheating" on him (I've never cheated on anyone.) Instead of him just texting back and telling me how much he hated me like he normally would have done. He drove over to my house, he had watched my dogs once before so he knew the back door pass-code, and he let him self in. Me being the person I am, ran to where he was and I could tell he was angry by his face, he pushed down the stairs and punched me several times. He went over to my guy friend and threw him into the wall and punched him more then I thought he had the energy to. I tried to take control for once in the relationship and tell him to leave. Well he didn't like that at all, he took me over his back and carried me to my room, he threw me on the floor and did things I would never had let him do if I wasn't unconscious. He took pictures of me and sent them to his friends. I was bruised for weeks, and haven't been able to have a stable relationship since.
